Today was tough

Hey there :) It's day 4 for me today... today has not been a good day. I have not had so many cravings, however, it's the general state of being... it can get so hard :(

Hang in there Lori_me things get better daily. You might even be experiencing more ability to taste and smell, possibly even breathing better, all in this short time. If you are nicotine free, cold turkey, then the nicotine should be out of your system for all intense purposes. What you are experiencing is the void left in your daily routine. Your body also misses the euphoria a hit of nicotine gave you. Get a dopamine rush by pleasurable things like incense, good music, chocolate, and doing things you love to do. You can get through this as many here have. You have done it before and this time will be your last. Educating oneself about nicotine and understanding your relationship with it insures that you will less inclined to return to the addiction. Make this your last quit. Be that happy non-smoker you once were.

We have your back keep going girl......................... The advantages of giving up are immense. Stay Strong.

How's it going Lori. Sometimes it takes a few tries. Don't get discouraged. If you truly want to quit you can, it is a mind game. Find the reasons to quit and stay focused. Cravings are only thoughts they go away once we stop wanting the cigarette. Read Allan Carr's book that I posted...free. He gives you facts and motivation to beat this addiction.

@Happiness, thank you for asking. It's going okay, I think. I still have days when I feel so tired :( not smoking, so that's good :) I have read Allen Carr's book 2 times so far, gonna read it again when the circumstance asks for it :))) He is the best when it comes to explaining everything about nicotine addiction.
