I quit smoking on December the 16th 2016 and soon I will reach my goal of 1000 days, the first few months was difficult to overcome, yeah cold turkey!

My health is fantastic now for an old man of 60, no more coughing at night and being short winded just doing minor jobs around the house, if anyone is thinking about giving up smoking and maybe a little bit scared, just do it and surprise yourself at what you can achieve!

Good luck in your endeavours

Thanks for dropping by with incentive and encouragement. There is no fear to be had from quitting smoking. The fear comes from not quitting and lack of faith in ourselves that we can.

We can all make adjustments in life to new jobs, new houses and environment. Surely making positive steps for ourselves is not a hard decision once we believe that we can do it. Joining a quit group like iCanQuit prepares you for what to expect and how to deal with it, just like a new job. We are the team mates working with you and cheering you on. Have faith in us, as we have faith in you.

There is nothing to fear but fear itself!

Thanks for the inspirations. Your definitely an achiever of the goal most all can do if focus, determination, are used. For others it takes a bit more with education, support and encouragement. You're so right in the respect that everyone can achieve freedom from that nasty addiction.
