I miss smoke but happy to stay quit

Dear fellows,
I have been away from smoke for more than 6 month now.
Now if you ask me about my journey, it was roller coaster for first month but then it gradually started getting normal with intermittent cravings .
Let me be very honest today to admit that there are situation or times of my day (some days only) when I really feel to smoke a cigarette or two and feel good BUT I also know that staying quit is the best decision I have made in life and I am not doing it for anyone else but myself so that I can see my kids growing and getting old.
I miss the feeling of holding cigarette sometimes when the winds are cold and slap me on my face with a fresh breeze, I recollect my old days and wish to have one.. but that's not a craving anymore.
Dear pals, if u r trying to quit, pls remember the NOPE mantra.. NOT ONE PUFF EVER..target one day at a time and don't push itself to quit but push yourself to analyse the bad effects of not quitting. You may want to read my stories on how I quit and stay quit.
I love you all and thank you for being there in support. I am so happy now and quitting was the best thing happened to me last year with all your support and positive motivation.
Regards
RK

Congrats on over 6 months of smoke-free living and now the freedom from the vice. Everyday is more "normal" and soon you won't even think of it. Breaking the habit, retraining our minds and being true to ourselves will keep us in good stead. It is not natural to ingest smoke and poison ourselves, it defies logic.......We can quit smoking and remain quit, one day at a time, with the knowledge we have gained and the resolve within.

I certainly know that feeling of "maybe just one". I too miss it. But I only have to remember that my health is already better, I have saved over $600.00, and even though everything else seems to be falling apart at the moment, I will not smoke. NOPE.
Congrats to you and keep up the good work.
