I quit - twice!

Hey everyone!

I want to share my story as it was a very difficult one. I first tried hypnosis- my boyfriend and I thought we would do it together.. nooooo! Then other attempts, ie, lets support each other! Honestly, none of these strategies work!!

The only thing that works, is that YOU want to quit, and you truly WANT TO quit - it’s all about you, now. It’s a very personal journey and you’re the only person in charge of yourself, now.. I chose to seek my doctors advise and was prescribed “Champix”. It is by far, the most effective method I have ever tried and had amazing success! Ps; doctors do warn about grumpiness and crazy dreams, I believe it’s not to do with the medication and more to do with actual withdrawal symptoms. At least you know it’s the withdrawals that make you feel crazy.. you have to continue to remind yourself of this to stay sane! Trust me, I have successfully quit smoking (twice) , it’s not easy, but it’s achievable, if that’s what YOU want !

JMCD Truer words were never spoken. The only thing that works, is that YOU want to quit, and you truly WANT to quit. It is all about how you think and feel about the process.

I still encourage making behavioural changes as to negate the void feelings that it may leave periodically to remain a happy non-smoker.

I love waking up to more great success stories. Awesome!
