Happy Birthday
I was just reminded by our host that it's now been one year since I put that lighter down.
Most memorable moment? My 8 year old recently had his birthday and I got told off for not having a cigarette lighter to light his candles. I made a promise to myself that I'll buy a lighter and light his candles for his 18th birthday cake.
Kinda' feel doing what I did, kicking that 40 year habit, will ensure I'll be there.
Know what I'm saying?
Congrats on your year quit Stevo and a job well done. I don't think to tote a lighter with me anymore either. Be proud of yourself and don't sweat the small stuff.
It is amazing how efficient our bodies are, and how quickly they mend once we stop poisoning them. Not only will you be there for memorable occasions, but hopefully set an example for him and others.
