500 days strong

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 2 Feb 2019

Day 500 smoke free! I had my first cigarette at age 12. I’m 45 now. It can be done. I believe a smoker has to be mentally and physically disgusted by one more drag of a smoke to quit completely. I also would get winded just talking to somebody .today the shortness of breath is 80 percent better. No weasing and feeling like a truck has been lifted off my chest.quite possibly I saved myself to be able to walk my daughters down the aisle one day. I also quit alcohol 500 days ago as well . I couldn’t quit with out giving them both up.

I do believe that once we view the cigarette for the vile thing it really is, it makes all the difference in our fight for freedom. Once you accept, things become easier, and before you know it, you are a non-smoker.

So many benefits, and absolutely no reason to smoke these days. We became out-siders, in ever sense of the word.

Added bonus is the money saved on alchol, and minimizing the negative health effects it also brings.

Winner, Winner....chicken dinner. I love chicken... it is so versatile. So is life without a cigarette in hand!
