Day 5!! Feeling great - It’s so true in saying why would I want to crave such a nasty, time wasting health destroying all consuming toxic substance. I’ve looked at it differently from not missing out on something to gaining so much more! More time more money better health and the biggest one not being a prisoner to it! I’m using patches but I can honestly say I pop it on and go through my day! I’ve had one time in 5 days where I did actually go I want a smoke then I went yeah right for what that was it - onwards and upwards looking forward to not being able to count days without remembering my quit date - happy Wednesday

Its great that you are in positive thinking mode. Mindset is worth so much in making this journey easier and shorter. I figure that i you don't obsess with it, it will simply tire and go away. That is why changing our routines and taking up a healthy distraction is essential. Do some kegel exercises if you can't do stretches . Deep Breathing is another you can do anytime, anywhere.

Choice of wording means everything . Keep it positive. A great decision Hlouise, of Choosing to become a non-smoker.

You have chosen so many positives in your life with this one great decision! You are about to starve the nicotine monster out of your life. Take solace when you do get an urge that it is only a sneaky , dirty leech begging to be fed. Delight in the fact that you now hold the power over it. The tables have turned, and a better , brighter future is yours.

Hlouise, It is a beautiful Wednesday and Its my Day 5 too.

Hang tough and we'll kill the costly filthy habit dead in its tracks $

Guys setting aside that’s it’s a revolting unhealthy habit, who can even afford to be a smoker these days?? What are we.. awful kardashians throwing $$ away like that?? Haha.

When I am getting tempted, my growing bank balance sets me straight! I’m really looking forward to getting to the point where I no longer need to keep track as well.

No guilt necessary Debbie. There is only 1 you. You owe this to yourself, and the savings will more than compensate for time off. Others who follow your example are unexpected bonuses too!~
