80 days into quiting

gave up smoking on the 8th of november .I am now 80 days into it and finding it easy to do no cravings for most of the time now and again i have a craving for a smoke but it only lasts a small amount of time. Best part of giving up is how much i enjoy breathing so much easier no cough, that has totally gone feel a lot healthier already .
wish i had done it years ago i have not smoked 2000 smokes saved over 3 thousand dollars have bought a new chain saw a second hand ride on mower and a $800.00 drone with the money i have not spent on smoking love it.
i smoked for nearly 55 years if i can do it so can you
i also downloaded an app called get rich or die smoking so i can see how much i save how my health is improving each day and how any smokes i have not had really helped me to see the data on the app

Hello Redfield, Really nice to have updates for people like me who are wishing the cravings were over. I am 3 weeks today. although they are much better they still come and go.
I also wondered if people save the money and bought things they could account for other then daily living expenses. Nice to hear that some people know where the cig money has gone to.
I did look up the app get rich or die smoking but it doesn't work for i phone. I do have an app but it really really basic I am sure i can find a good one soon. Funny I spend money on cig for years and now I am too cheap to pay for an app for my phone. Guess I am so done with anything cig related. Any how congrats 80 smoke free WTG!

Well done Redfield. I guess i am 80 days cold turkey today as well since we both quit on a whim on Nov 8/19 . It is funny how we can be thrifty, yet have wasted a ton on something so vile. I think most of us tried quitting a few times years ago without any understanding of nicotine, its effect, and how it could be beat, but with internet and information and aids available today we have the edge. We now know it is mostly psychological and that that part must be addressed.
Anyone can quit smoking and be free, we are!

A brilliant success story, Redfield. Congratulations on what you've achieved for yourself, and thanks for sharing your story; those helped keep me going in some rather dark hours.
