So itโ€™s been 81 days and still quit, I have accomplished so much in the last 11 1/2 weeks. I would like to say I have saved $1800.00 but instead I have put it into the house as in painting, gardens ect, the money didnโ€™t go to waste and the house looks incredible.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ I do say to people I may or may not smoke again but if I do least I am accomplishing what I need to do, I have no desire to start up again just being realistic. I did have a cigarette 25 days ago and I can honestly say I was very sick and again took a week to get over it, my body rejects cigarettes big time. The down side to quit smoking is this dam acid reflux, chewing gum does help a lot, just donโ€™t like chewing all day. I look so much better and feel so much better except for the reflux, they say it can take 3 to 4 months for reflux to settle. Has anyone else suffered and what did you take for it without going to the doctors?

Thanks

Hi Suzy. Trust you will get rid of the reflux. Am impressed to see how you are inviting the cash saved from the ashtray. Bet the property improvements are far more aesthetically pleasing than the look of an overflowing ashtray. Welcome to the club where individuals are in charge of their "pay rise". Mine has gone up at least $250 per week. At $1000 every month or so, that is a huge amount. Have better plans for every $1 saved.

Thank you Robn and Lia, my Reflux has calmed down in the last 2 days. Robn Iโ€™m not a fan of ginger but it beats the reflux so thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Lia when you put it in prospective your right my house looks way better than that dirty old ashtray, lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ Iโ€™m saving now to paint the outside of the house and if everything goes to plan I should have enough money by July fingers crossed, there is no way I would have ever saved and done what I have so far if I was still smoking. You can look back and think look at all that money I donated to the tobacco company instead Iโ€™m looking forward and saying look what I have achieved and I havenโ€™t finished yet. So bring on 2019 smoke free, money in the bank , healthy and happy with the best decision I ever made.๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Painting and overall improvements on your home are a great way to spend your savings, and to keep busy. I know i have more energy these days too. I got washing the walls of tar, and cleaning curtains and carpets to get rid of the smoke smell. Day 25 for me and i know i am never going to be its slave again. I don't know why you would even entertain the thought of smoking again. Even the smokers that have learned i have quit are jealous and want to know how i did it. There are lots of ways to naturally reduce acid reflux on line. Stay strong and proud!
