I am one month nicotine free and not taking Champix for 5 day because i coudn`t get my script filled. No Dr. in town.

so i`m going ahead without the help of Champix, i`m ok.

now that i stopped smoking i find myself eating a LOT. from bad habit to another, thats just great.

Hi habit, I found the same thing when I stopped. I ate more too and put on a few kilos. I didn't worry too much about it as I found that slowly my breathing got a lot easier and better the longer I stayed off the smokes. I would, and still do, go for a walk in the evening and I have also started swimming as well. I am now losing the weight that I put on and I am sure the same thing will happen to you as well. Stick with the not smoking as the benefits far outweigh the negatives in putting on a bit if weight.

Hi PE I would not let a little over eating compare to smoking. You are doing great so stay strong and it is normal to gain weight when quitting as we all replace the ciggies with food at first. Feel proud at the money you are saving and that you are doing the best thing for your health. If the weight gain bothers you just find a form of exercise to counter the eating. Hang in there you have got this!!😊
