Patches this time
Went 5 months ciggie free earlier in the year. With help of Champix. Trying again after a couple months back on....Dr won't give me Champix again because I got quite depressed so trying patches this time. I think the depression was like grieving over the ciggies, felt like giving up something pleasurable, but Dr wont risk Champix again. Quit day in 2 days time. Not feeling as confident as last time, but have to try again as money for smoking was eating into my money for food big time. And they just went up in price again. Good luck to all that are trying and good luck to me. :)

Hi Annette. Congratulations on deciding to quit. I think it helps if you can get excited about quitting and think of all the amazing benefits quitting will do for you. You won't smell bad, you can prevent a serious disease, you'll feel healthier, you'll breath better, you'll get to enjoy life without having a cig every 15 min. So many good things to look forward to. You've done it once and can do it again believe in yourself, I do! Best wishes.

Hi AnnetteLouise, I have just hit 3 months and have done the patches. I have to admit the hardest thing for me is when my work colleagues all go and have their ciggy breaks, I feel so jealous!
But then I think how well Im doing..and realise the feelings will pass, it's such an evil thing Smoking!
It controlled my life, and I wish you well on the start of your non smoking journey! Us non-smokers have to be proud of our decision to quit!! Good luck
