No smoking day 17

Hi all
So far my journey of quitting cold turkey has been fruitful. I haven't had a slip up. Even now though, I still get cravings from time to time. It does get annoying because it becomes difficult to ignore. In saying this, I find keeping busy is probably one of the best ways to get through cravings. Especially now that I have a lot more time!
I think at home rather than at work is when I get the strongest cravings. But, I don't cave. It's not worth it. I just think about how much effort it's taken to get to this point and that's enough for me to resist the urge.
I'm still getting used to the idea of not having a cigarette anymore. However it's one of the best decisions I've made for myself. At the start, I could relate to what people were saying that it's like losing a friend as that's how you feel at first. As time wears on, I've adjusted. Feels like a very slow process at times.
Good to see so many others taking it upon themselves to achieve this goal also. It's a huge achievement in my opinion overcoming this addiction.

Well done Haydee you are doing fantastic. If you can do 17 days you can do 17 more & no reason to ever turn back. Well done to you in your success. Stay strong, you've got this😊
