Hello, my name is Doug and I am at 80 days today. I have been a smoker for about 33 years and it has dictated my life most of that entire time, everything I did revolved around whether I could smoke or not. I decided to do it cold turkey, I have seen too many people I know trade one addiction for another with the gum, patch, or vape!! The first 3 days were the absolute worst for me, after that was replacing idle time and routines with healthier alternatives. I have put on some weight, that's o.k. This is an individual program and find what works for you, I really don't have too many cravings anymore, I have however had the out of nowhere drop you to your knees cravings some mornings. These are what I'd like to warn people about, they don't last long if I find something else to focus my energy on. They really do come out of nowhere and can be startling!!! I intend to stay an ex-smoker!!! I'd also like to thank a lot of you, I have been reading stories before I actually joined. Some of you have helped me and don't even know it! As of June 21st 2018 I haven't had a single puff!!!

I haven't had any problems like that, it sounds like a gum infection. However, I am not a Dr. Maybe see another dentist, especially if it isn't going away!
