Hi I am a 22 year old asthmatic, I seem to be experiencing different withdrawals to other stories on this website and was wondering is this normal? I have just recently exactly one week ago (smoking on and off for 5 years -3 cigs a day). To be honest I don't feel the need to smoke although the physical withdrawals are unbearable. Iv only gotten about an hour of broken sleep each night if I'm lucky and I constantly feel foggy headed and as if iv lost half my brain power which makes it hard at work. Iv almost driven to the servo in the middle of the night twice to get cigs due to the unbearable physical withdrawals. The thing that drives me on is that for the first time in a long time I feel like iv gotten a lot of my breath back which is great. Has anyone else been going through these physical withdrawals? if so how long does it last?

Hey Smet, sounds normal to me and good job on being smoke free. I've been having disrupted sleeps since I quit 3 days ago. It should only be temporary though as your brain is getting use to not having nicotine. I'm not worried but it is annoying I know.

I have felt fogginess also. Although not as bad as it was on Day 1. Concentrating is quite difficult also. Hang in there, it will get easier.
