Reality Check
I just came out of hospital from acute appendicitis and although my issue was not smoke related I came out relieved that it was only my appendix. I don't want to end up in there for any smoke related illness. As it was, I had to have the ventilator mask to help my breathing just prior to going to surgery. That was scary as they said my breathing difficulty could cause complications during the surgery. I saw people far worse off than myself, hospitals give you a lot of thinking time to re-assess your life choices. I want to be as healthy as I can possibly be. Your body is your temple! What's life without your health?
Yes I think it is scary. I too have had many troubles with cigarettes your body is a temple i guess. Consider yourself lucky at this stage you have no troubles with smoking. I guess there are alot of problems you see in hospitals just try your best to not smoke and you'll be ok
