damn cough
im on my 2nd week of Champix, and day 6 of not smoking. Have to say that after a lifetime of heavy smoking (i'm nearly 63) i feel im doing ok and in control. BUT whats with this coughing?? Its not a chest cough I'm not coughing anything up. It's a tickly cough and it's driving me nuts! It wakes me up every night, and i usually end up heaving and throwing up. I can cope with the odd craving for a cigarette but this cough really sucks. Has anyone else experienced this or should i be going back to see my doctor?
Hi Angie, l am also on champix, have not smoked for 2 days. I drink some water when I get that cough. But definitely go see your doctor. I went back to see doc because of nausea that almost made me vomit and she gave me some maxolyn anti nausea tablets. Now l feel great. Good luck
Yeah i got the cough allthough i was not on champix it's a dry cough and i don't cough up flem it's more just annoying.
Hi. I was a Champix baby. Lasted a month of the planned three. It made my back ache. Flagged it away. I felt strong enough not to need it. Stay with it if you can. Webbquit - go get some. Your cough - follow Red 67s advice. You are in control. People like me will be here so our old folk numbers grow.
