Day 6

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 19 May 2018

Going good.Cant believe I haven't felt like a smoke.Days seem longer as I'm not spending time outside smoking.Glad that I am fortunate to be off work during this time as most of my work colleagues smoke.I calculated that I have spent over $9.000 a year on cigarettes.. what a waste.Good luck to all like me on this new journey.

Good for you Sandracheryl. Once you make up your mind you are set. I am nearing 6 months and can not believe I have done it!! Like you, I finally got fed up with the chest infections and shortness of breath which wasn't going to improve while I continued to smoke. I also want to be able to travel and it helps to have a good set of lungs to do that lol. Smoking just holds you back so much. If you can not smoke for one whole day you are half way there I think. That worked for me. All the best in your journey and keep writing and sharing your experiences as it helps others on their journeys also and takes your mind off things. It has certainly worked for me. There is so much support out there!
