Day 1

Got through today without too much angst!! I've always found the worst time is making up your mind to quit and a feeling of "fear" when it comes around. Once you stop it's not really that bad. Easy to say after only one day !!! Anyway, I'll keep going and master this dreadful addiction if it kills me. (not really a good choice of words!!!!).

Hi Crosbie, each day is a new day, and just take each day as it presents itself to you,
Everyones biggest step in our bid to get over this habit we all have had for years and very much dominated every phase of our lives, is learning to let go of the "false friend" that was always there when we needed it the most, or just being there at arms length,
Letting go is the hardest, but you like all the other quitters can let go and not let the "False Friends" dominate your life..
Have confidence in yourself....
You can do it.

Hi, today is day #3 without smoking. I am thinking about you winning this dreadful addiction. I tried to keep my smoking a secret. But I am sure people knew and could smell it. I felt like such a sneaky idiot. I don't like this person and I have to stop this.
So, I join with you in this fight. I believe we can do this
