I want to be smoke free more than I want a cigarette!

That is what has kept me from picking one up in the last 24 hours. I just have to keep my head in that space, easy....No, I know it isn't, I have been here before.

Mind you, I have learned a lot about addiction since my last quit attempt and I am hoping the addiction tool box I now have will get me through this one!

This site and the stories of those on it, are part of that tool box, so I hope to see you around.

Lbeth.

hi Lbeth

Welcome to the site, you are right it is a fight against yourself, for me in the beginning I took a day at a time and sometimes it was an hour.

do whatever works for you but use this forum it is such a good source, in the beginning i think I posted nearly every day it helped get what was in my head out, I shared doubts and achievements alike.

today I am 784 days smoke free, so hang in there you can do this

Good luck

Thank you for commenting Storm, it bolsters me to hear a success story like yours. I am going to try and post each day or even more than once if I feel the need, as you say to clear my head and to get some guidance and reinforcement.
