HI all,

I posted recently how I had been relapsing and feeling my partner is not helping by leaving the packets around the house. He's been away and he left them out of my sight and whilst I could smell the foul aroma on him after he came in, I wasn't triggered. I did think a couple of times, hmm I wonder where they are, maybe I can have one, but , said no way to myself. Next Sunday I will be two weeks 100% smoke free and into the 6th week of starting this journey.

Never give up giving up as they say. Thanks everyone.

I will say throw the packet into the dust bin outside.

;) Maybe then your partner will not leave them lying around.

Or if you have enough will power do what I did to my partners.

I drew sad and happy faces on the end of the filters :D.

Congratzs on the 2 weeks smoke free.

Well done lizzarokka, you are well on the road to freedom. Smokers (your partner) don't like being left behind, and can try to drag you back. I would thtow his cigs in the bin so that he learns to notleave them around!

Hi LizaRokka. Good advice and encouragement from fellow quitters. Perhaps if you work you could tell your partner that you have just landed a $200+ pay rise per week. Your partner will be bewildered. That is equivalent to what you will not burn in an ashtray. Just don't tell but it will show up in your bank account... It would take years to get such a windfall...

The financial gain is quite like winning Lotto

schedule 29 Mar 2018

Hey, it's like winnning the lotto. Imagine if you invested all the money you spend on ciggies and invested them in a good shares portfolio over 10 years; we'd all be much much wealtheir ..rather than sicker!!
