Attempting to quit for the 100th time with QSN

Ok guys, I am back after a crazy last month of just chain smoking & being terrified of attempting to quit yet again! I think my last story was around 22nd of Jan & its true what they say, the second u think "oh just 1 wont hurt" it all goes downhill from there! I have had so many failed attempts the last couple of months & purely this is due to me either being to scared to try and quit, or hating the feeling of withdrawal & always thinking about smoking & it was destroying how I function on a day to day basis.. so this time around i did some research & found QSN (quit smoking now) I'm not gonna lie, the 30 day program is ridiculously expensive (well for me it is) but they have affordable payment plans available :-) there tablets that u either suck on or swallow whole & u still smoke for the first 4 or so days & then after that u are suppose to not have the desire or craving anymore! So off I went & signed up for the program & apparently all the ingredients are natural from plant extracts (100% the opposite of champix) & their website has 5 star reviews (I even personally know someone who has successfully quit using this method.) So now I am on day 7 of taking them & haven't had a smoke since 9pm last night :-) I don't want to get too ahead of myself because for the first 6 days I did still sort of want to smoke, but in saying that, everytime I did have one, I got a massive headache & felt sick (like I had just smoked 10 in a row) so by day 3 they started to taste absoluetly disgusting & this morning when I woke up it was like magic! I literally had a craving of about 1/10 (& most of that 1/10 was because of habit, not because I actually felt like one!) & I went through the whole of today barely even thinking about one or wanting one at all :-) I am keeping my fingers & toes crossed that this feeling lasts for the whole 30 days of the the program & I can finally be smoke free :-) will keep posting updates as I go along xx

Congratulations for not giving up on giving up, that determination will keep you here. I've never heard of that program. Keep us posted on how you go. All the best.

Try not to get too upset with cravings. They come and go. They will go. They will gradually taper off and eventually, your body and brain will forget. It will get easier if you can get through the cravings. They are a nusance I KNOW. Funny, I am having more cravings for alcohol but not going there because drinking might..willl weaken my resolve. We are all here because its' been so hard to stop. But its' not impossible so many people do give up everyday

Thanks guys :-) god it is sooo hard! :-( im on day 2 now & these tablets are suppose to be well and truly working but im feeling abit meh about them. A friend of mine also started taking them the same time as me and she is doing fine! She's not really craving and is in good spirits, so obviously it's working it's full affect with her. Me on the other hand I'm not quite sure, I still feel like I have some cravings, they might not be as bad as usual times before this program but to be honest I think it is more of a mental thing.. as my brain keeps thinking about it and sort of reminding me of times when I would smoke but then on the other hand it's also saying "Yes but remember how much u want to quit and how gross it made u feel!" Ah so confusing, but I am so certain to stick it out :-)
