Nicabate lozenges

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 11 Jan 2018

So I’m here lying in bed at the end of day 4 and my cravings are out of control!

I have been using the lozenges for the past few days and they have really taken the edge of for me, but not tonight!

I think this is my peak of anxiety so far. Thankfully it’s bedtime so I won’t be debating with myself about going to the shop and just having ‘one’ as I seem to do the last few days.

I’m desperate to get a few weeks under my belt, time seems to be going so slowly!

Yeah time does drag a bit. I noticed after stopping how much spare time I gained. Sometimes I run out of things to do and sit there and think what would I be doing normally? Probably on the balcony having a smoke. Am at day 7 and working towards getting another week done. As more time goes by the quit will become more and more valuable and I will treat it this way so I don't go backwards.

I am day 11 ..approaching 2 week mark..hang in there Flashback,it will get easier.I get one or two cravings a day only now and they pass quickly. Its not that time drags its just that you have extra time because we aren't wasting it putting the silly things in our mouth.Counteract the craving by deep breathing, drinking and gargling water.chewing gum(not nicotine gum)and before you know it that craving has passed.Deal with each craving at a time, dont worry about the next one or the next day ,deal with now and no matter what! do not smoke..no matter what

Thanks for the support guys! One day at a time huh! Will get there. I’ve also banned myself from sugar so I don’t balloon so I’m the crankiest girl in the world right now haha.

Thankfully my husband is quitting with me too he’s a few weeks ahead of me so he’s sympathetic.

Good luck today and have a great weekend!

Thanks again
