Not giving up on giving up!

schedule 25 Nov 2017

So far I have been setting my quit dates rather impulsively and setting myself up for failure because my mind wasn't ready. Having quit drinking alcohol three days ago (in a much more mindful way) and feeling better already, I decided to give myself a week to quit smoking so I've set the date for December 1st. This time I know I will succeed because previously I was making decisions rather drunkenly I'm embarrassed to admit.

Hi jelly cake, Sounds like a good time to start to me, New years resolution how do you reckon you will go with the Drink?. Its good to hear you declare your off the drink as you now I'm an Sober Alcoholic and if I can do it you can too, One Day At A Time Its not eazy but if you just focus on making it thru this day, find things to do to take your mind of Everything and you will be Amazed at what you can do if you put your mind to it and that's what its pretty much all about just keeping your mind active and focus on whats important ( Getting thru Today ) I'm sure you can do this , we spend 8 out of 24 hours asleep leaving only 16 to worry about Keep it simple and get some help with withdrawals and you will get there, Its worked for me 23 and a half years without a Drink or Hard Drugs now 75 Days without a Smoke and I'm proud of it to. Hang in there Mate You Can Do It Im right behind you. Ron
