When did you actually start the Champix and quit?

Stay strong Mandy, you can do this. The nausea is a small price to pay for a life without cigarettes & the worst of illnesses they can bring, just keep reminding yourself of that. I've been lucky & not suffered from nausea but I've read that it will subside so stay strong.

I have however become quite insomniatic over the past 4 nights, very frustrating! I was really worried about having those weird dreams people keep talking about, but I don't need to worry about that now. Can't have them if I'm not sleeping.....lol

Eat before the tablet and after the tablet - makes a big difference - someone mentioned taking anti-nausea tablets too - I had the same problem but it's worth it to not smoke - keep going and good luck!

PS Take the evening tablet at the latest 5pm - with food - first 3 weeks I also suffered with insomnia but taking tablet earlier has helped

I have been smoke free for 5 days now, I am also taking the Champix and it helps heaps. You don't get the nausea if you eat before and after taking the tablet. It says it on the packet to eat before as well. I stopped taking the night time one as I was having trouble sleeping. Everything is still going well so far. All the best for you :)

Yep best med for nausa is Maxalon I found that helped when i was last on champix trouble with champix is you can only get so many prescriptions per year i think it's the Initiation pack plus the continuation then no more. i wanted to try Zyban as i didn't have much sucsess with champix. The only way it works is to still use the NRT. Another stratergy is considering quitting coffee as it's often a trigger whereas tea seems to be ok for me.
