My 52 days smoke free
My 52 days quit cold turkey. Today I had a very bad day. In the noontime I drive out to buy lunch and on the way home, all of sudden I feel uncomfortable so I thought it might be my reflux and I take the Gaviscon. Just when I reach home my body start to trembling and sweating,my blood pressure 165/103. My hubby drive me to our family Dr. I did the EKG is normal. My Dr told me is Adrenaline Rush 😱😱😱he gave me 2 months medical. I'm so depress and down now. When can get I fully recover.
Unfortunately its going to feel like it takes a long time to fully get thru these first couple of months, Remember how long did you smoke for? So it wont happen overnight, so give yourself a big pat on the Back you deserve it Cold Turkey is doing it the hard way give yourself a treat go and have a nice massage and spend some of that cash you have saved on yourself you deserve it and it can only get easier as the time rolls by.
Thanks ronryan65. I'm trying very hard, it's not that easy. Honestly my depress is really very bad. I don't even dare to go out or stay at home alone. Cause when the feeling of discomfort come ,is just like is the end of the world.
Amy3565, I suffer with Depression as well I am taking antidepressants to help me and I understand what you are going thru agoraphobia has been a problem for me too. Have you spoken to your Doctor about it? You may need some medication to help with your anxiety it's not necessarily to do with withdrawals but it don't help if your not getting any relief for it you should maybe try Nicotine Replacement Therapy it may help you cope a bit better I couldn't do cold turkey you need a Gold Medal for making it this far its not easy by any means and you don't have be to proud to get some help, there's no hero's in this story just the need of a little help, so ask your Doctor about doing a stress assessment and get some anti-depression medication if you don't wish to try NRT and If you like look me up on Face Book or look me up on ronryan 65 anytime late or thru the day I'm always there for help.
Thanks ronryan65 for your supporting. Yup yesterday I went to see my family Dr and he said that I had Adrenaline Rush , he do gave medication but I don't feel like taking any antidepressants. I keep on trying do deep breathing.
