I am no longer a daily smoker. This is such a relief for me. For the last two months, I have been buying a packet of twenty less than once a week. I managed to go five days without smoking. I am getting really good at being comfortable and confident. I am having one of those nights when I am alert. I lay down for half an hour. I did some breathing exercises and cuddled my Dog. I have had two days smoke free. I am knitting a lace shawl to keep me occupied on my College holiday. I am not to take any extra medication unless I lose three days sleep. I doubt very much that that will happen. I usually lye down sometime. What amazes me is how energetic I become without the toxins in the cigarettes. It is 1am in the middle of the night, and I feel very happy. I might have to read a book. Then I'll catch the next sleep wave.
