Campix - mood changer?

Has anyone else found that Champix changes your mood? Or is it just the frustration of quitting? My partner and I have been on it for over a month and are being horrible to each other. I would prefer to understand that it does effect your mood because then there would be a reason for my partner and i on the verge of breaking up. I'm determined not to let myself get into a pity party and start smoking again. I'm thinking though, I may need to do it without Champix. I dont want to quit smoking and lose my partner at the same time!
