Trying again, again

I have quit a few times already and then started again. Usually thinking it's OK to just smoke when I'm out drinking then I'll have some left the next day and start again, This time I'm planning to nt have anymore at all!

Hi Woodrow, welcome to the page and for making another start on a new lifestyle for yourself.
Its not an easy habit to break free from, but your giving it another go, you can only give it your best shot.
Keep this page up to date on whats happening, cause remember we know exactly how you feel and what you are going through.
Just be kind to yourself.
People fail. We are only human. I have avoided the bars thus far so that Im not tempted with people smoking. My roomate and boyfriend both go outside to smoke so i dont have to smell it. But its gotten easier and easier. Just take it a day at a tiime and remember when you drink it lets down your guard so you are much more susceptible to giving in. Good luck in staying quit.

Just smoking when you're out would be great if it worked, but as we know due to the very addictive nature of nicotine it won't let that happen. At least now with designated areas only allowed in pubs and clubs has made it a bit easier so try just staying right away from the smoking areas in the pub. Just keep saying NO.
