Lung irritation
I quit smoking cold turkey march 3rd...a little over5months ago...i have had pneumonia or an infection in my lung since....i read on here others have struggled with same issues...this may sound awful...but it made me so happy!!! Im not alone...i didnt quit just to be miserable....maybe it happens to alot of us smokers...im 52 have smoked for majority of my life... I pray everyone gets healthy...and thanku for sharing...totally made a difference in my nite

not good about you not being well, but could you imagine the work out your lungs would be getting if you were still a smoker.
I would presume you are under Drs care regarding your Lung infection..
When we give up smoking, our bodies go through a major transitions in trying to right it self after we have well n truely abused it over the years.
One of the biggest notables that i have noticed with myself since quitting is, no more hacking cough, that was with me 24/7...i think i lost the cough about 6 weeks after quitting.
