60 Days

I know that there will be a couple of people that will hate me. It is 60 days. And I don't miss a smoke at all. I have been partying, drinking, BBQ, socializing etc. And not missing it at all. Yes the first week was challenging. The wife still smokes and every time she lights up i just think yippee none of that for me ever again. So yes my journey was relative easy but everyone trying, keep on trying and one day you will be free and enjoy every second.

Excellent to hear! You should be singing from the roof tops. I struggled horrendously for 5 & 1/2 months, I would have loved to have your experience. One word of advice, never have just one puff. It doesn't work. An easy quit can lead people to thinking that it wasn't so bad or hard so they light up every now and then and before you know it they are full time smokers again.
I've seen it happen and just wanted to put it out there so you are on guard.
Really good job though especially when your wife still smokes. Hats off to you..

Thank you all. It would be nice to help others to stop as easy as i did. But my moto now is NOPE. I never want to smoke again.

i think nobody will hate you . we are all happy for you and never forget if you can make it to 60 days whithout lighting one you can make it to another 60 days

I've been trying for over a week and have had smoke free days but my husband smokes a lot and it's really hard not to smoke his when they are there

@Berend - I agree with you. I am one of those really happy non smokers. When is go out with friends I look at them and think by myself I am so glad I stopped. I don't miss it or crave it. I will never smoke again.
@ Laura9876 - I know it is challenging if your partner still smokes. As my wife still smokes. if you can make one day you can do 2. If you can make 2 days you can do 4. And hopefully before you know it you will look at your husband and think. Damn i am glad i don't have to smoke anymore. :-). Good luck.
