Miserable on Champix

Hi - does anyone NOT using Champix feel depressed after quitting ? I feel depressed and miserable all day long. I'm not longing or thinking about smoking thanks to Champix but I feel so low. I think I may have to use alternate method as I have never felt this way in my entire life. Has anyone tried Zyban?
Smoke free 14 days - 30 year smoker.

I'm 80 days on champix. Felt low for weeks. Remember that nicotine is a stimulant. Perfectly normal to feel low while adjusting. I took a lot of vitamins. Especially b to help me through. Still taking my champix, because it worked for my dad to stay on for the max time, but feeling really proud and positive. Good luck. Hang in there. Remember that there is no good reason for smoking.just lots of great reasons not to.

Hi LPDS,
I've not had experience with Champix but I have heard that it's a common side effect for some. It really does have a high success rate if you can tolerate it. Feeling flat and low is such a common side effect and you're only 14 days in with your body going through so many changes no matter which method you use. Keep an eye on your symptoms for sure and if you're finding them too unbearable then best to check in with your GP.
I'm a huge advocate of lessening the stigma associated with Champix as mind altering drugs. I see them as a blessing that have helped so many quit and most importantly remain quit.
There are many on this site who have had great success with them and I have had a number of personal friends use them who have never looked back.
All the best and I hope you feel better soon.
