Week 3 16 days

schedule 11 Jun 2017

Throughout my 3 weeks journey I felt really confused with myself. Am I really doing this ? Should I really cut my relationship with my "best friend" throughout this 10 years. Anyway I'm still smoke free and today is day 16. Last night I went out for a jog and gosh I got a severe headache. I keep telling myself maybe this is the way my body try to adapt to a new level of oxygen intake. Went to sleep and woke up feeling quite the same. Maybe my body still in healing process. Reaching for a month smoke-free in 2 weeks time. I'm not really sure whether should I keep going or just give up on this journey. Let's see what happen.

hi and welcome KaiBanna. Congrats on your 16 days smoke free. You have done so well, bravo. You say you are not sure whether you should keep going or give up.......it is a no brainer....do not give up. Perhaps you could slow down a little with the jogging and try fast pace walking instead. Take one day at a time...small steps lead to giant leaps.

I had been smoking for over 30 years and have been smoke free for 13 months, trust me.....cigs are not your best friend, it's all in the mind. They trick you into thinking they're your best friend, that you NEED them etc. Who's in charge here, you or the cigs? Cigs want you to be a slave to the trade......you have shown them that you can be better than them, keep it up...you can do this.

Cheers :D
