Just quit.

Hello, I have been smoke free for 9 days now. Quit two days before No tobacco day without knowing there was something called "No tobacco day".
Day 1 i felt it was the end of the world for me and my profession being sales makes me crave of cigarettes even more. However, I feel its either you quit or you do not. You cannot be hanging in between.
I guess it is just the thought of smoking makes you crave for it, once you learn how to surpass the thought, things get a lot easier.
I still do have cravings, but it reduced. Plus cravings lasts for few minutes, so you just got to divert your mind.
I have been sober so far, I only hope I do not pick up the habit again!

Hi Praveen
Yes, cravings come and go. Mostly they go unless you satisfy the demands and let's face it, if that is the case, you are sunk. Addicted again. Best to look forward and not backwards. Hang in there and enjoy the ride.

Hang in there and fight the fight. You seem to be controlling it pretty well. Keep up the good work. :)
