6 months . . . and counting!

I have been looking forward to this day for so long and it is finally here. I remember like it was yesterday when I was excited to finally make it to 3 weeks. I still crave for a cigarette but will admit that over the past week the cravings have become less intense and do not last as long in duration. I have read a lot of other people say that they can no longer stand the smell of cigarette smoke. I don't mind it but smelling it definitely raises my craving level. I still try to stay away from smokers so it doesn't bother me as much. I still consider myself in the "danger" zone and will continue to be diligent !

Hi NTT. Congratulations on reaching the milestone. Just remember there are a bunch of supporters cheering you on and hoping you will be another trailblazer. Power to you and keep us updated on your ongoing journey.

Hi Lia. Knowing there are supporters cheering me on really helps me overcome the cravings. On top of the diminished cravings over the past 10 days, and the encouragement of supporters, I would say the cravings have decreased 20% compared to a month ago. I am really starting to believe I am going to continue to be successful on this quit. Yay!
