Don't give up on Yourself

I have tried to quit a few times over the years, the longest being 2 years. Every time I found an overload of difficulties I was faced with and got through. I forgot an important thing. Reward yourself. Be kind to Self. Yes I did with a smoke. Last week I chose to use Nicotine Patches but discovered I had massive dizziness, so painful I took the patch off and later had a smoke. I went for 6 days without. This time I will read up on developing my will power and go cold turkey.

Hi Red-67, Thanks for your message. I started cutting down over a month ago. Then, had a patch on for 6 days. I have had 2 smokes today. What I should have done was have some juice to combat the sugar decrease.

Hi Kelly,

Just wondering if the dizziness has stopped

for you now? It may or may not be patches but we

are all different. I've noticed my blood pressure

has dropped since quitting which can cause

dizziness also. I'm on patches but not

experiencing bad dizziness.

Hi Kim26, thanks for the message, the dizziness has stopped. But I did have to put my patch on again this morning. phew

So glad to hear the dizziness has stopped and

hope you are finding the patches useful.

I wear mine for around 12 hours a day

because I can't sleep with it on due to

nightmares.

Hi Kim26,

I don't wear the patch at night either, don't have nightmares but lots of dreams that get a bit muggled and wake me up
