Day 1 (again)

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 30 Apr 2017

Managed to get through Day 1 again. Thanks Allan Carr - have downloaded his audio book. It's great to change your mindset from fear of quitting to wanting to be free. So easy to listen to while doing other things, rather than reading a book.

I'm at around five weeks this week, thanks to Allen Carr.

I hope it goes as well for you as it has me. The first three days seem to be the biggest hurdle, although I don't think my worst days were half as bad as some people's best days.

I don't need to wish you luck, if you read the book and you follow the rules, you'll be over it in no time :)

Hi there,

I read a sample of the book online. Sounds

pretty cool. I might see if it's available

at my local library. The author appears to

have a book for lots of different things,

not just smoking.

Hi weewilliam . love this page. I want to ask if you recall if in easy way, Allan had a failure, but found out the guy had a dream., a vacation sitting in a waterside cafe, drinking a ??? and smoking. Allan realized he was smoking a different brand . The upshot is that he was not holding on to a desire, but an envisionment. Anything like that holding you back? Do you recall the story? https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/218/21822/the-only-way-to-stop-smoking-permanently/9781405916387.html ......... is the updated version of easy way.

Hello Happiness

If I remember rightly, there was a guy who imagined himself sitting in a Paris cafe smoking a Galoise (sp?) And he wasn't even a smoker
