Thanks Dobbin for being there in the backround reminding me constantly what it was like "100 days earlier". To those on this site who are determine to quit, I hope you find a fellow quitter who can help you stay quit. Many thanks to many in the early days and hopefully those who have left this site are still smoke free. 700 days today. Hard to believe!

Hey Lia. That 100 plus days means a great deal. As a newbie you picked up my plight and , as with others , ran with it. Shall always be eternally grateful. It is only one smoker who understands another and hooking into people's posts has given me and others the strength to quit. Anyone who says quitting is easy fools themselves. Nick O'Teen is patient and sits on your shoulder whispering in your ear to have a smoke. He is cunning. He will stop whispering for a while then shout when you are vulnerable. Well done again on your 700 friend.

Hi Lia,

Oh congratulations!!!!

It must be an amazing feeling to reach such

a wonderful milestone.

I would also like to say thank you for

still taking the time to check in now and

then.

I know as a newbie myself, it gives me

hope and inspiration that one day, I too

will be able to say the big 700 also.

Congratulations Lia. An extraordinary achievement. I so rarely come back here but am always gratified to hear of the determination of those of us who started around the sane time. I had a moment recently when all ai wanted was a ciggie. I voiced that to a colleague who I thought had never smoked. She said, I stopped twenty years ago but there are still times when I crave a cigarette. At that moment, I knew ew we we'd achieved a feat - we are still tempted and we still resist.

Well done you for persevering with the crusade.
