What a ride!

Oh wow. 5 days only!without smoking sigs. I started early and smoke for 20 years already. Damn, quitting experience so far is not what I though it would be. Its hard to work, or should I say impossible. It;s really hard to be myself. Hard to make myself exercise again. Like I am waiting for that cigarette to get on my normal routine. On my third day I was not able to do anything and decided I needed some nicotine.
3mg nicotine oil and I felt a bit better, I could read and live :) That was day 3. The other thing that bothered me until today is that all Ijust wanted to sleep. All the time. Damn, I could sleep 14 hours and still be sleepy and take a nap! I wanted to sleep all the time. I fell asleep while listening to the meeting on the phone in my bed. hehe. Two days ago I have developed a nasty flu with running nose, water eyes and terrible sneezing. Oh wow, I am one broken human now.
But I have to admit, today my willpower seem to be back. I could write this post! Its a huge improvement from the vegetable state.
If somene will ask me about quitting Ill suggest them to go get bunch of sick days and stay home, sleep, eat and drink water.
These were long 5 days of my life...
Anyway, its being crazy but reading all other shared experiences I know I may hate quitting much more than being cigarettes addict!!!
I hope I wont need to be going trough this again.
Thanks for all of you who shared the experience. It was nice to see what we are not alone and quitting is possible.

Hiya,
There will be days you'll hate it and others
where you will feel you can conquer the
world. It's a terrible addiction but it is
winnable. I love smelling nice, always have
but now realise how much I used to smell
like an ashtray. Yes there are days where
I'd just love to have a drag but then I know
I'd kick myself. If things start getting to
much then perhaps see your GP for
support or I have found the Quitline to
be wonderful at helping.
Hope things start feeling better soon x

Hey Red-67!
Thanks for reassuring words! That realization that everything runs around a cigarette is insane. I am very impressed by the power of the habit!

Kim26!
Thanks for support!
Damn. I think that I like to stink like an ashtray! :)
Well, I hope that the memory of that shitty time wiil stay vivid forever so I can always remember that quitting sucks.
Talked to my friend last night. He did quit before me and he slipped :(

Hey Void,
How are you doing today/tonight?
Hope you're feeling a bit better? Ooh I
meant to ask, what is nicotine oil?
