45 days smoke free, and happy. I recently returned from an O/S trip, curiosity led me to peek into a Smoking Room at the airport......I used to practically run to find these rooms between flights. Now I can't believe I ever did that.

Hi Red, you are very similar to me. After 52yrs smoking and 8 mths quit i too find the habit the hardest. But you right as me do not change the routine , we need to learn to carry on as we did without that little bugger between our fingers. With my coffee i read the paper and check out news but forget about the smokes. Soon you will realise that it starts to get better. Cheers.

Hey Judes..........if you entered a smoking room now you would not be in there more than 10 seconds. I find them choking and stinky when i am in the vicinity of a smoker. So, stay clear...no point quitting and passive smoking. Cheers.

Trust me Johnnie, I had no desire to enter that airless, smoke filled room.....just wanted a peek from the outside. Felt sorry for the poor smokers in there. And Red, my 45 days have flown by, seems like yesterday I was aiming at my first week! You know how time goes faster as we get older (all the more reason to ditch the cigs). For me, I've found that the habit is definitely the difficult part but nothing I can't handle with water, willpower, determination & this forum:)
