14 days smoke free!

Can't believe how fast the last two weeks have gone! Logged in here this morning to see the "14 Days Smoke Free" title and over the moon. A long long time since I last had 2 weeks without smoking.

It's not been a picnic at all...am using Champix and now on last day of first 4 weeks of it. Yes, it is killing the cravings for smokes but it is also killing everything else as well. Totally unmotivated, always tired, and just feeling completely blah and zoned out. As other people have talked about the dreams are bizarre and very vivid. (For anyone who has read The Millenium Trilogy, dreaming that you are in the story and you are running with Lisbeth is not a good dream.)

Am considering halving the evening tablet in order to drop it altogether sooner rather than later. Would like to think I was strong enough to stop taking them totally but not yet. Would like at least another 2 weeks without smoking before I do that. Really not sure what to do but the pros (not smoking) worth the cons...i think.

Hi Cat, dont sweat the lethargy and non-motivation, we have all been there. I did the full 12 weeks on Champix and started weaning off it in the last month. I'm now 7.5 months (231days) smoke free. The vivid and terrifying dreams calmed after a few weeks and I got back into life too. Some people cry for months, I was an angry soul for months, I hated everything and everyone . We are all different, going cold turkey is not better than using Champix or NRT, it's just a different way to run the race.

Im day 5 no smokes and have at least 10× cravings per day! ..I'm also sweating heavily and my body is aching!, is this normal?
