One step at a time

After my decision to quit, I formulated a plan based on my previous attempts to quit ( vaping, fluoxetin, cold turkey). I decided to cut down cigarette and replace it gum and later taper it off. For the first five days I smoked cigarettes and last 2 cigrattes were on day 5. Thereafter I substituted cigarettes with gum. My health improved markedly and I was feeling good. Although I also took a course of antibiotics for the sinusitis. There were a little bit of problems though like gastric upset and sleep disturbance with nightmares.
