First day of lent

I'm not gonna lie this first week has been bloody hard. It's like I've broken away from a turbulent relationship. Which I have done before... but this is all worlds of different.

The key this week for me has been to 'keep busy' - those quit smoking apps help too. Every time I get the hankering I reach out to try and get pointers on why I'm doing it and get distracted. I ha a binge night (alcohol) and resisting cigs that night was tremendously hard. In hindsight that was a stupid decision because it's my biggest trigger!

I'm still in the midst of cravings big time but like any cursed relationship I need to remind myself I'm better off without him.
