Slow start

Day 1 - On my first Champix lasted until evening and then had a great urge for a cigarette, so I did.

It may not be a good idea to try to change your smoking habit on the first day of taking Champix. Give it a few days while smoking normally, and you should find you want them less.....so by the time you get to your actual quit day 7 to 14 days after starting Champix, you should be ready to start your smoke free days. I'm into day 4 of no smokes, after taking Champix as prescribed for 6 days....I had chosen my quit day for 7 days after beginning Champix, but felt ready at 6 days. Happy to be at day 4 smoke free and the savings are already adding up. Still think about a cigarette at all those times that I'd normally have one, but with a bit of will power and reminding myself why I don't want to be a smoker anymore, that thought passes.

Mate just keep at it i have use it before as long as you stop within 14 days you will be sweet and trust me on that stuff its easy to not want them. Within 2 months you want neef the champ anymore :) stay positive.
