"Cravings Subsiding"

New year's eve at my local club a real tester.
Wandered into smoking area where smokers were happily puffing, borrowing smokes from one another etc and sending smoke signals galore especially on this particular eve. Joyful times was also when i would enjoy smoking more than rather a stressful situation. After 6 mths quit i had to enter the "lion den" to see what effects it brought on me.
Well, can honestly say that i found the stench in the area terrible and also the slight burning effect in my throat was unwelcomed also.
It was proof to me that if you tell your brain that is it and look at all the downfalls of smoking , you will not be bothered by people smoking around you. I found i had no cravings or any desire to smoke . Naturally left the area after about 20 mins. but was enough time to say to myself it was no point entering that particular section again on any other visit to the club. Oh, also saw one gentleman with a ecig also vaping away......do not know anything about these gadgets. So people stick with your quit attempts...cause it DOES get easier in time. Wendy's post summed it up beautifully and should be read. Cheers.

Hello again Wendy............my saying is "the real thing or nothing" so why would anyone vape? I think if one quits.....then that is it ......nothing. Cheers.

Good Job Johnnie! walking in the Lions Den, sticking your head in the mouth of the Lion, Smelling his horrible breath and Walking out again. Well done Mate! Happy New Year!
