iCanQuit content update - message for the iCanQuit community

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 7 Dec 2016

Hi everybody,

Our new content for iCanQuit has gone live today, in response to user feedback we've received.

There will be four new sections:

1. Getting Started: Formerly known as Quit Guide, this section will provide you with handy tools and practical advice to help begin your quit smoking journey - and stay quit for good.

2. Reasons to Quit: This section will look at facts about how smoking affects you and those around you, as well as the many benefits of quitting so you can stay informed and motivated throughout your quit smoking journey. Please note, the former Health section has been absorbed into Reasons to Quit.

3. Quitting Methods: Information on the different strategies and methods to help you quit smoking.

4. Staying Quit: A new section dedicated to providing advice on how to keep on track with your quit smoking journey.

Your existing logins will remain active and any information that you have entered in the past will be maintained. The site will be unavailable for a short time while the new content is published, but Quitline will be available for professional quit smoking advice on 13 78 48.

We hope you like the new site. We would love to hear any feedback you have. You can reach us at prevention@cancerinstitute.org.au.

Thanks,

The iCanQuit Team

Hi Lia,

Quitline (13 78 48) has always been available in addition to iCanQuit.

We hope this answers your question.

Thanks,
