Its 21 days since I quite on cold turkey! Never imagined I would get that far! But well, I am basically trying to replace my smoking addiction with a sport addiction. I have been running 90km in the last month.. Still not sure if that is a good or a bad thing...

Also, it really helps to read other peoples struggle. So thanks so much for sharing them.

Many people posting, they want to stop or are just starting.. Keep it up guy..

Its 20 days since I quite smoking. Never imagined I would get that far! But well, I am basically trying to replace my smoking addiction with a gum . Its working fine. I still have an urge for smoking but I divert my mind and take a gum. Its a promise to myself that I will not touch cigaret any more.

I have been planing to quit this habit for last 10 years. Only now I am successful. I took my last puff on 17.11.2016. Its almost 20 days. I hope I continue this. There is no such thing us will power and addiction. If you make up your mind that you want to be smoke free, and let others smoke free definitly you can do it.

I still get the urge but I take a gum when ever I feel like smoking, The mind is diverted. I will post now when I complete 45 days.

Congrats andies!!!! I just remember the first few weeks of quitting and the terrible terrible cravings and feelings of being lost - these memories alone stop me in my tracks when I get a strong now as I NEVER want to experience those intense cravings ever again!!! Its day 102 for me now and its like I'm getting further away from those first few painful weeks. But andies, stay on guard - the cravings will be back to torment you for some time yet - I still get a sneaky bad one from time to time.
