Still amazed

I am still amazed after 437 days that I finally quit smoking.

I was on a coach yesterday to London and when we returned the driver came along the coach to count us. When he passed us the couple behind commented on the fact that he stank of cigarette smoke. Just one reason I am glad I quit after 53 years of being a slave to nicotine.

When I think back to the early weeks of quitting all I remember is the intolerable cravings but I was resolved and didn't cave in.

There are so many benefits to quitting but for me one of the main ones is not having to smoke the first one in the morning and within seconds feeling s**t.
