Look forward to day 2. First few minutes and hours are the hardest. 525 days later one must still be on guard...

There is a lot to look forward to - the nicotine is out of your system in 24 hours. Marvellous to have made the devision to quit. Think.of the process as freeing yourself from nicotines clutches, rather than losing something. Best if luck to you 😊

Hi Stefann,

It can feel depressing when you first quit. I struggled with finding my new identity as a non-smoker. I couldn't relate to being a non-smoker as I had been a smoker for 25 years. But it passes...

Its like the death of your best friend - which in reality would be devastating - lucky for us its only the death of our smoking habit - but nonetheless its loss and it can make you feel doom and gloom - accept it for what it is and begin to look past it - oh, and keep distracted too

Good luck and keep posting
