Hi all,

Day 79 and checking in...

Wow!!! I cant believe I have not had a smoke for 79 days!!! I never thought I'd be able to say that after 25 years of smoking. I'm very proud of my achievements thus far

I have a very supportive partner who continues to smoke - but I know he is proud of me too. I never changed any of my routines - I just found different ways to deal with the cravings.

I'm finding the hardest craving that is still hanging around is the morning ciggie - this was my favourite - and I've endured the morning ciggie crave for 79 days straight now. Its not been easy to shake this one. But I have never given in and I really look forward to my breakfast now as it takes the edge off the crave. I look forward to when I wake up without craving a ciggie...

I also look forward to triple figures only 21 days to go before I reach my mile stone of 100 days.

Stay strong everyone :o)

Hi Crasher. Seems no matter what day we reach it is a huge milestone. Those following your lead are inspired and those who have been there are also suitably inspired knowing others are following in their footsteps. This is never a competition, rather a place to feel huge support and to encourage others. Keep going
