My stress levels have been extremely high the last few days and the thought has been it will be less stressful if you have that smoke.

Haven't given in and taken a gew deep breaths when i needed to. I did however accidentally buy some horrible mouthwash and have done that twice today. Maybe if i tie the cravings/thought to that horrid taste it will go away! I refuse to chuck my 54 days away! I'm gonna get through this stress without that smoke.

Get used to those pesky cravings becca06. They are less of a problem as time goes by but they are always there. Agree totally, don't toss 54 days out the window. Hey, tomorrow is a new number. 55 sounds pretty good. Don't risk going back to those first torturous 5 minutes when you told yourself this is it! That was the hardest bit...

Well done, Becca. What an amazing accomplishment, you should be feeling very proud and free (when the cravings aren't around). The others are right, the cravings will reduce down until they're not there for most of the time. Don't be lulled though, be prepared at all times in case they pounce. I was 3 months in and had a massive cravings after a week of nothing and I am still smoke free. If I can remain smoke free then so can you. Keep some sugar free gum with you at all times, it's a good safety net. Keep posting, it's good to hear such positive results. I'm so pleased for you. Hugs.
